Hi there,

Holly here, founder of Atlanta Belt Life.

If you've been wondering where we went, the honest answer is: life happened. Running a small, independent local brand is a labor of love, and for a stretch, that labor got heavier than usual. I had to step back, catch my breath, and figure out how to keep going.

I'm glad I did. Because we're back, and I'm more excited about what we're building here than ever.

Before we get into all the good stuff happening on the BeltLine, I want to take a moment to mention someone many of you know and love.

Ella has moved to New York City to start a new chapter of her life.

If you've been part of this community for a while, you know Ella was the heartbeat of so much of what made Atlanta Belt Life feel like home. Her warmth, her energy, and her genuine love for the Belt Line showed up in everything she touched. We are so incredibly proud of her, and we can't wait to watch her take on the city that never sleeps. Ella, we love you - go get it.

Now… spring on the BeltLine is absolutely not waiting for any of us, so let's get into it.

🌸 ATLANTA SUPER BLOOMS! & ORCHID DAZE: LIVING CANVAS
Through March 29 | Atlanta Botanical Garden
Spring is showing off. Nearly 140,000 tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths are taking over the Botanical Garden's Great Lawn and inside, thousands of orchids have transformed the conservatory into something out of a dream. This is one of those "you have to see it to believe it" Atlanta moments.

🎨 GRAFFITI ART CLASS ON THE BELTLINE
Saturday, March 28 | 2–4 PM | Fourth Ward Skatepark
You and nine feet of blank wall. Instructor Malcolm Creations walks all skill levels through spray-paint technique before you collaborate on a mural right here on the BeltLine. It's a great date, a great group activity, and honestly just a great Saturday.

🌿 SIP AND PLANT
Sunday, March 29 | 2–3 PM | Wild Heaven Beer (West End)
Craft beer + a custom planter box you build yourself. Everything is included in your ticket, soil, plants, tools, and expert guidance. Leave with something living and a buzz. That's a win.

🍷 CANDLELIGHT WEDNESDAYS
Every Wednesday | 6:30–9:30 PM | Buena Vida Tapas Bar (BeltLine)
Full candlelight. Live jazz. 50% off all wine bottles. Spanish tapas. On the BeltLine. If this isn't your midweek reset, what is?

πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§ FOR THE FAMILIES: NATURAL EGG DYEING
Saturday, March 28 | 10 AM–12 PM | Atlanta Botanical Garden
Kids learn about natural plant dyes and decorate wooden eggs to take home. Hands-on, educational, and mess-free (relatively speaking). Included with garden admission.

This Week’s Sponsor

Ease Wellness - East Atlanta

You know those aches that just won't quit, the tight shoulders from a long week at your desk, the knee that's been nagging since your last BeltLine run, the back pain you keep meaning to deal with? The team at Ease Wellness in East Atlanta gets it, and they're right here in our neighborhood to help.

What sets them apart is shockwave therapy, a non-invasive treatment that uses acoustic sound waves to stimulate healing in tendons, muscles, and connective tissue. It's especially effective for stubborn, chronic pain that hasn't responded to other treatments: plantar fasciitis, shoulder tendinitis, lingering soft tissue injuries. The goal is to jumpstart your body's own natural repair process, no surgery, no downtime.

Located at 210 Bill Kennedy Way β€” six days a week, easy to book online.

THRIFT LIKE A LOCAL: Atlanta Locals Choose Antiques Over Mass-Produced Furniture

There’s something happening in Atlanta’s walkable neighborhoods, from BeltLine corridors to Inman Park and Virginia-Highland. More residents are trading big-box runs for afternoons spent digging through antique shops and vintage markets.

It’s not nostalgia for nostalgia’s sake. It’s a shift toward pieces with history, character, and sustainability that actually means something.

From thrifted jackets under $20 to heirloom credenzas that outlive trends, we break down why Atlantans are choosing secondhand, and where to start.

Because nothing says cool like saying, β€œThanks, it’s thrifted.”
