Spring is in full swing, and Atlanta is showing off. This week, the BeltLine corridor is bursting with things to do — from fields of tulips at the Botanical Garden to rooftop cocktails, farmers markets, and a hidden gem on Memorial Drive that my daughter and son-in-law couldn't stop talking about after I watched the grandbaby so they could go. Mint juleps meet margaritas — and we are here for it. On Saturday, May 2nd, the Roswell Entertainment District is hosting the Derby de Mayo Block Party, a full-day fusion of Kentucky Derby elegance and Cinco de Mayo energy running from 2–10 PM.

If you haven't heard of Tiger Sun yet, you're not alone, and that's kind of the point. Tucked behind Muchacho on Memorial Drive SE, this 18-seat omakase experience lives inside a refurbished vintage tour bus, and it is exactly as cool as that sounds.
Each 90-minute seating is built around a rotating cinematic theme - Japanese tradition meets Scorsese energy, with every course crafted like a scene. The cocktails are just as intentional as the food, and the whole thing feels less like dinner and more like being let in on a secret.
